It was about this time a year ago that I got the call... The call that would officially launch Avenue A. You see, one of my best friends wasn’t having a great experience as a bride - and called me. Aimee wasn't getting ANY communication from her photographer. She tried, texting, Facebook messenger, and email - but crickets.
Guys, this is not ok! I didn't know what to tell her. Her wedding was only a couple months away, and they hadn't even taken engagement pictures yet! Through the course of a couple phone calls and long conversation, it finally came up. She saw something in me that I didn’t even see in myself yet. Somehow, we started talking about the possibility of me behind the camera on her big day.
I’ve been behind the camera for years, but Aimee helped me see that photography was something I could and should do full time, and had a level of confidence in me that I didn’t see in myself. Her wedding has come and gone by now, and it was absolutely perfect. The images we captured that day also perfectly capture her relationship with Paul.
I’ll forever be indebted to Aimee for encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and officially launch Avenue A. I’ll also be forever grateful to Aimee for helping me see how every bride deserves to be treated throughout their planning process.
I strive to give every bride the relationship with their photographer they deserve. I promise to be there to help however you might need. I promise to shoot you a message just to check in. I promise to be there for you.
Sincerely,
Andrea
